Since I can not delete it, I can not go any further which this solution. In reply to saashe's post on June 27, Try using regedit as administrator by right clicking on it and choosing 'run as administrator'. Thanks for your reply. However, I need to install the MSI version and not the click to run version. Also, this is a fresh copy of Windows 10 and no older version of Office that is installed. I however, did run the MSOffice uninstaller and reboot my machine but I am still getting the same error.

Vijay A. Verma Volunteer Moderator. MSI version is not getting installed if there is any previous C2R installed. If previous C2R was uninstalled,then some of its components may be remaining. You need to uninstall C2R by Easy fix and then reinstall. In reply to Vijay A. Verma's post on May 11, No previous C2R are installed and I already run that easy fix then reboot the machine.
